I am an incoming Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida, where I will teach courses in the Technical Communication program. My research interests lie at the intersection of rhetorics of health and medicine, technical communication, and digital media. My dissertation examines Lyme Disease discourse as a case study for understanding rhetorics of patient empowerment in the internet health era.

I earned my B.A. at University of Maryland (2013) and Ph.D. at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2019).
